The Future's Favorite Fighter

#FrankieFights

With the President having deployed American troops on American citizens at our capitol, D.C. police becoming militarized, afab/women’s rights being stomped on repeatedly, same sex marriage threatened (a step toward possible criminalization of interracial marriage) Brown and Black people stuffed into concentration camps, the constitution and all of our human rights being consistently violated… do I need to even finish what I’m saying?
Tag me in. I fight. Relentlessly.

Francesco “Frankie” Fonseca is a 30 year old transmasculine artist and astrologer from South Jersey. Born and raised in Atlantic County, he has since resided in Camden County. Frankie is an official federal candidate, running as an independent, to represent New Jersey’s district 1 in Congress.

Frankie will be fiercely challenging democratic incumbent Donald Norcross who has held his seat in Congress since 2014.

Frankie was born ready to fight for marginalized communities as the beloved great grandson of former Colombian President, Deogracias Fonseca.

About Frankie

Campaign Focus

Decolonization

Resilience

The injustice of this system depends on the silence of me and others like me. This campaign is my little voice saying “I refuse” in one of the loudest ways I could possibly imagine

Voter Engagement

Community

Community engagement is at the core of my campaign. I prioritize community connections and the uplifting and encouragement of bipoc voices and issues, especially bipoc trans voices who have been silenced for far too long. I’m going to listen. Come tell me all about it at one of my campaign events, email me, or tag me in your TikTok videos so I can hear you.

Personal Message

It is personal

The state of things within our government is beyond personal. Let me fight for us. Im fighting for a world where people are safer, where everyone is protected by constitutional law and our government. I may never get to personally experience a fair and just life, but those after me certainly will if I have anything to say about it… which I sure do, with every last breath in me. One day all children will be born into a world where none of these systemic horrors exist to suffocate them the ways that they have suffocated all of us. That hope, that vision of the future, is sometimes all I can think about. To not “try” would feel like placing my hand over the mouths of all future generations. Instead, I would love to contribute to that new world by going where no bipoc trans person has gone yet, taking my fight off the unsafe street and into the unsafe capitol building. I am the very first trans man and trans bipoc to run for Congress. If elected, I’d be the first to serve. I made history already just by deciding to try.
